My name is Joy McCoy, author of The Hexapus. First and foremost, I would like to thank you for considering purchasing my book. The Hexapus is my first ever published work, and I am extremely proud of it. A lot of work and thought went into this book to make it what it is today.

Secondly, I'd like to tell you just a little bit about myself. As you know, my name is Joy McCoy. I have my degree in English from the University of North Georgia with a minor in Journalism. Growing up, my mom owned an in-home daycare, so I have spent the majority of my life around children. I believe, ultimately, this is what led me to write a children's book.

Today, I have a little one of my own with my amazing husband, Michael. Our son was born in August 2022, and he is our world. The Hexapus is dedicated to him. Our family also has 2 dogs (Sophie & Millie) and a cat (Eddie). We strive to find joy in life, and I truly hope you find joy in my book.
